Local United Way leaders highlight rising essentials like housing and food, sharp increases in 211 calls for help, and point residents toward 211, county public health, UW-Extension, and ADRC services while planning new programs to ease financial strain.
   

• Oconto Falls turns unused tennis courts into skate park (greenbaypressgazette.com) — Families in Oconto County now have a new skate park option in Oconto Falls, where unused Pine Grove Park tennis courts have been converted with ramps and safety rules posted. The city is also upgrading its Jackson Street ice rink with a rubber base so it can open earlier and hold ice better, in partnership with Leadership Oconto County.
