Oshkosh breaks ground on 54.7M water tank replacement (dailyreporter.com) — Oshkosh has started a $54.7 million project to replace its aging drinking water storage tanks with two new above-ground reservoirs and a modern pump station at the Lake Shore Drive filtration plant. Work runs through 2029, will close Lake Shore Drive for safety, and is designed to keep the city meeting strict state standards while improving water reliability and security.
   

3. Pair from Milwaukee accused of smuggling drugs into Oshkosh Correctional Institution (wtaq.com) — Law enforcement in Oshkosh say they stopped an alleged attempt to smuggle drugs into Oshkosh Correctional Institution, arresting two Milwaukee residents after a joint investigation by prison staff and the Oshkosh Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit. Officers report finding suspected synthetic cannabinoids and Suboxone in balloons on a visitor, and emphasize ongoing efforts to keep drugs out of local correctional facilities.
   

4. Oshkosh council approves Woodman's plan to redevelop Shops at Oshkosh (thenorthwestern.com) — Oshkosh’s Common Council has cleared the way for a new Woodman’s supermarket, gas station, and car wash at the Shops at Oshkosh site on South Washburn Street. The plan will raze the aging outlet mall, keep Oshkosh Mills Adventure Golf, and create several new commercial lots. Construction could begin as early as February, with current tenants’ leases ending or bought out.
   

5.
