• Highway construction planned for Bluemound Road (gmtoday.com) — Expect major changes on Bluemound Road soon, as Waukesha County begins summer-long construction from Pewaukee Road (Highway J) to Highway 18 through the City of Pewaukee. Lanes will close to through traffic at times, but local access stays open while drivers are detoured via Highways Y, M, and J/164 until late August. 
• Softball Recap: Pewaukee Extends Winning Streak to Three (maxpreps.com) — Pewaukee softball fans can celebrate as the Pirates stretched their winning streak to three games with a 3–1 playoff victory over Catholic Memorial, improving to 19–9. Pitcher Samantha Brewster went the distance, allowing only an unearned run, while three Pewaukee hitters, including a perfect 2-for-2 day from Taylor Stanek, powered the offense. Neither team currently has additional games scheduled.
