• Two injured in motorcycle crash in Wilmot (westofthei.com) — A serious motorcycle crash near the state line in Wilmot sent one rider by helicopter to Milwaukee and another by ground ambulance to Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie in critical but stable condition. Local fire departments and Kenosha County investigators responded, and officials are urging riders to wear helmets and all motorists to use extra caution on construction-affected Fox River Road. 
• The Most Comforting Road Sign In America Might Just Say Welcome To Wisconsin (takingthekids.com) — Drivers entering Wisconsin on Highway 32 are greeted almost immediately in Pleasant Prairie by the large red-and-white “Welcome to Wisconsin” sign and nearby state travel information center. This gateway stop offers restrooms, maps, and local tips, and positions Pleasant Prairie as many visitors’ first real taste of Wisconsin before they head on to Kenosha, Milwaukee, or farther north.
