No injuries were reported, but nearby villages and rural properties saw significant damage, and officials are now tallying costs and exploring state and federal recovery aid. 
• Van Orden releases statement on Supreme Court decision regarding women's sports (wcwisconsinnews.com) — Prairie du Chien resident and Congressman Derrick Van Orden is applauding a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling that lets states bar males from competing in women’s sports, calling it a major win for female athletes.
