• Wauzeka man formally charged in hit-and-run that injured woman, dog (news8000.com) — A Wauzeka man has been formally charged after a woman walking her dog was seriously injured in an April 28 hit-and-run on Rhein Hollow Road, reported from Prairie du Chien. Prosecutors say he fled to Iowa and altered his vehicle before being arrested; he’s now jailed on felony charges with another court appearance set for May 21.
