Racine man charged in downtown Appleton Christmas Eve killing enters plea (postcrescent.com) — A 23-year-old man from Racine has pleaded no contest to reduced second-degree intentional homicide charges in a 2023 Christmas Eve shooting in downtown Appleton that killed a Milwaukee man. He now faces up to 60 years in prison and is scheduled for sentencing in January, with investigators relying on body camera and surveillance footage to build the case.
