• 47 Peoples State Bank employees in Wausau to lose jobs in merger (wausaudailyherald.com) — Bank First’s merger with Peoples State Bank will mean 47 layoffs at three Wausau branches this December, while the Rib Mountain location will continue under the new Bank First name. Local customers should expect branches, including Rib Mountain, to reopen as Bank First on Dec. 7, with services continuing but some executive and back-office roles consolidated.
