• Rice Lake woman pleads guilty to fourth- and fifth-offense drunken driving (gazettextra.com) — A Rice Lake resident has pleaded guilty to multiple repeat drunken driving charges after two separate incidents in the city, including one where police say an SUV nearly hit a pedestrian. Most additional charges were dismissed but read in, and a judge has ordered a presentence investigation before scheduling sentencing, where she faces up to 10 years in prison.
