Bodycam video shows officers confirming he was licensed and compliant, and they ultimately treated it as a quirky but legal shopping trip. 
• Man tells deputy he flew helicopter to store to avoid the drive (wcvb.com) — A 69-year-old pilot from Rosendale skipped the highway and legally landed his helicopter in the Cabela’s parking lot in Richfield, telling a Washington County deputy the drive was simply too long. Deputies confirmed he was properly licensed, followed FAA rules, and issued no citations, calling it anything but a typical parking complaint.
