• Jackson residence caught on fire after being struck by lightning (tmj4.com) — Richfield firefighters were among several Washington County departments called to a Jackson home Wednesday night after lightning sparked a major house fire on Division Road, closing Highway 60 for hours. No one was home during the strike, but damage to the residence and a vehicle is estimated at $335,000, and nearby roads were shut down for cleanup and investigation.
