• NEW: Body camera footage shows ex-Racine County deputy explaining hunting accident that injured two (tmj4.com) — A serious hunting accident near the Honey Creek Wildlife Area in Rochester left a 40-year-old man and his 7-year-old son injured after a former Racine County deputy reportedly mistook them for a turkey. Newly released body camera footage shows the deputy retracing the scene with investigators, explaining that his young daughter pulled the trigger, as the child victim continues to live with pellets doctors could not safely remove.
