Back by popular demand, SVA is offering a second four-week Tonal Still Life Painting in Oils class. Join us every Tuesday evening beginning September 8 as you explore the fundamentals of tonal painting while creating beautiful still life compositions.
Students may choose to paint from a live still life setup or work from a still life photograph. Sample reference photos will be available for those who would like to use them.
Participants are responsible for bringing their own supplies, including oil paints, a 9" x 12" canvas, odorless mineral spirits, a palette, and paper towels or rags. Some easels will be available, but a standing easel is recommended if you have one. A detailed supply list and additional instructional videos will be emailed to students before the first class.
Space is limited to 12 participants. Register early to reserve your spot!
