Author and book critic Margo Hammond offers a hands-on writing session, a professional critique and publishing tips. Start writing down the stories of your life or be encouraged to finish the memoirs you have started. The workshop is inspired by "Post Scripts: A Writing Life After 80," a collection of newspaper columns and personal essays written by Margo's mom, LaVerne Hammond, when she was living in Shorewood. LaVerne launched the St. Petersburg Times column at age 86 and wrote it until her death at 92, proving that it's never too late to be creative.
