Maintaining and preserving our older homes and other Shorewood buildings is economically beneficial to homeowners and to our village. An explanation of preservation benefits will be the topic of a program on March 29 sponsored by the Shorewood Historical Society.
Our speaker will be Mark Buechel, Senior Preservation Architect from the Wisconsin Historical Society's Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. Mr. Buechel will also address how to replace major items such as roofs and windows and maintain the historic integrity of an older building.
