Goose Island's 'Migration Week' Coming To Shorewood

SHOREWOOD, WI — Goose Island Beer Company is celebrating beer, food and music by bringing its Migration Week to the Milwaukee area and the public is invited. On Wed. Sep. 27, the party comes to Draft & Vessel on N. Oakland. While there, hang out with Brewer Di, sample some Chicago-only rare beers and enter a raffle for a chance to purchase some gems.

All week long, Goose Island is throwing events with local chefs, charities and businesses to join in on the fun.

Wednesday, Sept 27

Event: Meet the Brewer
Time: 6:30-7:30 PM
Location: Draft & Vessel – 4417 N. Oakland, Shorewood, WI 53211
Description: Geek out with Brewer Di, sample some Chicago-only rare beers and enter a raffle for a chance to purchase some gems.
Beer Featured: Regal Rye, Vanilla Rye and Grand Prestige

Event: Flash Flock

Time: Begins at 9 PM
Location: Brass Tap – 7808 W. Layton, Greenfield, WI 53220
Description: The Goose Island crew always visits old friends and is looking forward to meeting new ones while we’re in Milwaukee. Come join us and sip on some Chicago favorites!

Event: Beer & Cheese Class

Time: 5-6 PM

Event: Beer Dinner: Chicago meets Milwaukee

Description: We’re bringing the best of our city to Milwaukee to create a unique beer dinner for you. Join us as Chicago Chef Matt Troost joins the mastermind chefs of Tess to create a four-course beer dinner perfectly paired with our beers. Food, friends, and beers – what more could you ask for?

Description: Come sip on some beer, get down to Motown with local DJ Marcus Doucette from Radio Milwaukee and watch a live art show by OJ Hays (if you know Chance the Rapper, you’re familiar with OJ’s work). We’re even serving up some Chicago-style late night food on us, so come say hi.

Event: Volunteer Event with Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful

Description: We’re always down to support local organizations, so we’re bringing a few friends with us to throw a Charity Bunch at Victory Garden. Kick back as Chicago’s famous Bang Bang Pie Shop prepares an amazing on-site brunch as we pour you our Belgian-style Saison, Sofie. We’ll have some tasty Sofie-mosas as well, because, what’s brunch without mosas? 100% of the proceeds go back to Victory Garden, and you get to decide how much you’d like to donate!
