Man Stabbed to Death in Brady Street Area

Milwaukee's near north side has seen a troubling crime wave - Monday's incident resulted in a 32-year-old man fatally stabbed.

MILWAUKEE -- A 32-year-old Milwaukee man has died after he was fatally stabbed during an argument on Milwaukee's lower east side.

Milwaukee police are investigating the homicide on in the 1700 block of N. Pulaski - about a block north of Brady St. - at about 1 am.

Milwaukee Police say the two parties knew each other.

The victim died at the scene and the suspect fled, police say.

A troubling trend

Earlier, Patch.com reported that 7 Armed Robberies took place in just 3 hoursin the near north side of Milwaukee recently, but in fact, it's part of a much larger trend that police are investigating.

In reality, twenty armed robberies in almost the same area of Milwaukee have happened in just two months. The latest few happened just Sat. morning on the east side. An armed robber has been targeting unsuspecting people in the Brady Street and North Side areas.
