Record Number of High School Students Graduate From State's Leading Online Academy
Wisconsin Connections Academy recognizes five local students

Wisconsin Connections Academy (WCA), the state’s leading K-12 online school, celebrated the achievements of 30 high school seniors at its annual in-person graduation ceremony, including five Milwaukee-area students. The local graduates – Christopher Arritt (Milwaukee), Mark Cobb (Menomonee Falls), Brooke Friedman (Racine), Margaret Nelson (Cedarburg) and Kyle Wooldridge (Saint Francis) – were recognized at last week’s ceremony at the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley.
Now in its 13th year, the school – which expanded to serve high school grades in the 2011-12 school year – also recognized its first group of students to complete all four years of high school online with WCA.
A total of 30 students, the school’s largest graduating class, were recognized at the June 3 ceremony, including the five students who completed their entire high school career online, while living miles apart.
