Shorewood MOD Pizza Grand Opening Friday

SHOREWOOD, WI — MOD Pizza, 54151 N. Oakland Ave. in Shorewood is hosting its grand opening starting Friday, May 5 at 12 p.m.

It's the second such pizza place in the Milwaukee area for MOD, with the other location in New Berlin.

In Shorewood, MOD's grand opening features the following specials:

• -- FREE pizza or salad for first 52 customers!
• -- Giveaways
• -- 100% of pizza sales all day will be donated to Generosity::Feeds, an organization that fights childhood hunger.

MOD Pizza, is a restaurant that specializes in fast-casual pizza, was founded in Seattle in 2008 by entrepreneurs Scott and Ally Svenson.

MOD's individual artisan-style pizzas are made on demand, allowing customers to create their own pizzas and salads, using fresh-pressed dough, signature sauces and over 30 toppings, for one price.
