Bear spotted in Slinger neighborhood (wisn.com) — A black bear was spotted early Tuesday moving through backyards near Lovers Lane and Glacier Pass in Slinger, giving neighbors an unusual wildlife encounter by the Slinger water tower. Officials note bears are still rare in southeastern Wisconsin, but sightings are becoming more common, so residents are encouraged to stay alert and notify neighbors.
