• Dane County District Attorney requests dismissal of charges against Sun Prairie School District admin accused of child sex crimes (wmtv15news.com) — Sun Prairie families should know that Dane County prosecutors have asked to drop state charges against a former Sun Prairie West High School dean after he received an 18-year federal prison sentence for related crimes. Officials say the federal case already imposed the maximum sentence allowed under his plea deal, followed by 25 years of supervised release. 
• 3 firearms recovered, 3 people arrested at a park in Wisconsin (wearegreenbay.com) — Sun Prairie police say three people were arrested at Sheehan Park after officers on patrol found multiple firearms with extended magazines in a parked vehicle Sunday night. The individuals were taken to the Dane County Jail, and charges have been referred to the District Attorney’s Office. Police emphasize regular park patrols to keep community gathering spaces safe for residents.
