With resignations, promotions, and role shifts, most vacancies are being filled from within, which district leaders say helps keep stability and continuity for Superior students and families.

2. $1,000 Reward Offered For Information About Superior Entry Break-in, Theft (weareminnesconsin.com) — A recent break-in at the Superior Entry South Breakwater Light on Wisconsin Point disabled power and stole the navigational beacon, creating what the Coast Guard calls a serious hazard for vessels entering Superior. Investigators believe it happened around May 13 and are offering a $1,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest, with anonymous reports accepted through the CGIS Tips portal.

Douglas County Past: Chamber seeks Normal School, Hill bust unveiled (superiortelegram.com) — A look back at Superior’s past highlights a Chamber push to land a state normal school, spirited local baseball in South Superior, and a big crowd honoring railroad titan James J.
