• Sussex man alleges Sheriff's Department used Flock cameras to retaliate for complaint (gmtoday.com) — A Sussex resident is expanding his federal civil-rights lawsuit, claiming Waukesha County sheriff's deputies misused Flock license-plate cameras to track him in retaliation for filming a traffic stop and filing a complaint. The county disputes his allegations and is seeking to dismiss the new claims, arguing the camera checks were limited and lawful and that officers are protected by qualified immunity. 
• Investiture ceremony held for Judge Guza (gmtoday.com) — Sussex residents now have one of their own serving as a Waukesha County circuit court judge, as longtime attorney and Iraq War veteran Jeremy Guza was formally invested to the Branch 3 seat. Guza, who lives in Sussex and belongs to the Sussex Lions Club, brings military, small-business, and legal experience to the bench after his appointment by Gov. Tony Evers.
