The recognition, presented at the 2026 ACTFL convention in San Antonio, spotlights innovative language instruction happening right in the Verona school community and underscores the district’s growing reputation in world language education.
   

• County welcomes Youth Governance Program members (stoughtonnews.com) — Verona high school students will join peers from across Dane County in the Youth Governance Program, serving on County Board committees and casting advisory votes throughout the 2026–27 term. The board also passed a resolution honoring 4-H’s impact on more than 900 youth and hundreds of volunteers, underscoring countywide support for youth leadership and civic engagement.
