• McIntosh Memorial Library of Viroqua hosting 'Books UnBanned: Freedom to Read' (vernonreporter.com) — Viroqua’s McIntosh Memorial Library is bringing nationally known authors Lois Lowry and Angie Thomas to a free “Books UnBanned: Freedom to Read” event on Friday, April 24. Sessions at Viroqua Area High School and Westby’s performing arts center will spotlight book bans, teen advocacy, and the importance of intellectual freedom and diverse stories.
