Tyler August says Assembly Republicans have the votes to pass a $1.5 billion tax-cut deal with Gov. Evers, with a vote expected Wednesday. He’s less sure about the State Senate, where at least one GOP senator opposes the plan and Democrats are signaling skepticism, leaving the deal’s final fate uncertain.
