10-Year-Old Calls 911 On Man Who Hit Mom With Hammer: Report
The person who called police stated that Sixto Sanchez hit the woman in the back of her head with a hammer during the dispute, reports say.

WAUKESHA, WI — A 49-year-old Waukesha man has been charged with multiple felony charges after reports stated a 10-year-old child called 911 over a dispute between the man and the child's mother.
Sixto Sanchez, 49, has been arrested by Waukesha police and charged with substantial battery-bodily harm, first-degree recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct, according to court records.
Waukesha police responded to an apartment on the 900 block of Habourn Court just before midnight on July 25 on a report of a domestic disturbance.

According to police reports, a mother and stepfather - later identified as Sanchez - were involved in a physical fight. The person who called police stated that Sanchez hit the woman in the back of her head with a hammer during the dispute.
Police responded to the scene moments later and engaged in a rapid approach based on the situation, according to the report. The report stated that a 10-year-old child was on the phone with 911 and their 14-year-old sibling while hiding in the apartment's bedroom while the mother and stepfather were overheard in the living room and the hallway.
