13-Year-Olds Shoot At House, Police Track Them Down

According to police reports, a person who called police stated that three males in black hoodies ran by and shot at her house.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the 600 block of Scott Ave. just after 10:30 p.m. on a report of a man with a gun.

According to police reports, a person who called police stated that three males in black hoodies ran by and shot at her house.

Several squads responded to the area moments later. The suspects were described as black males approximately 13 years old, and were last seen running northbound on Scott.

Police set up a perimeter at Scott And Frame, as they began to search for the suspects.

Their search led them to a residence on the 400 block of W. Wabash Ave. The residents of the home gave consent for officers to search the residence, but the husband stated he did not believe the suspects were at home.

Police cleared the building and a tip led officers out to the intersection of Grand and Roberta, where two of the suspects were located.

The two boys were confirmed as the suspects, and they were taken into custody.

Another 911 caller reported finding a gun at Coolidge and Scott that had an orange tip at the end of the barrel. Police confirmed that the weapon used was an airsoft gun.
