14-Year-Old Who Drowned In Lake Identified: Report
Authorities identified a 14-year-old boy who drowned in Peters Lake over the weekend. They say there was a lifejacket issue.

WALWORTH COUNTY, WI — Authorities in Walworth County say they received a 911 call reporting a drowning on Peters Lake in the Town of Troy,in Walworth County.
Deputies, Troy Center Fire and East Troy Rescue were immediately dispatched. Emergency responders were told that a 14-year-old boy had been swimming with other children in Peters Lake when he had failed to surface from the water.
Sheriff's officials said that their initial investigation revealed that the children were swimming and playing on a floating platform. Witnesses told police that the child jumped off the platform while wearing a life jacket. The child submerged in the water and the life jacket had separated from his body.

An extensive dive rescue operation ensued, eventually leading to a recovery operation. Divers located the child at 7:35 p.m. and began the recovery process. The child has been identified as Adebisi O. Agoro, 14, of Milwaukee.

Camp Timber Lee helped authorities gain access to Peters Lake and provided support to the operation even though nobody from their organization was directly involved in the drowning.
