2 Women Arrested At Waukesha Walgreens, Later Returned: Police

According to reports, one of the women became upset and threw a punch at a Walgreens employee.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police were called to the Walgreens on 230 Madison St. just after 6 p.m. on a report that two women were acting disorderly in the store.

According to reports, Walgreens management said to officers that two women were in the store, and one woman was consuming and then concealing a bag of chips without paying for it.

Police told Patch that when the women were confronted by management they became disorderly and police were called. According to reports, one of the women became upset and threw a punch at a Walgreens employee. The two women were arrested, police said.

Waukesha police told Patch that the two women were released and went back to the Walgreens just after 6:30 p.m. for more disorderly behavior.

Police told Patch that the women involved in the first incident went back to the store to confront the manager about the previous incident. According to police reports, witnesses said the women were yelling as swearing at a store manager.

When police arrived, the women were gone, police said. The investigation remains open and is still actively being investigated.
