3 Waukesha Residents Die In Minnesota Crash That Killed 6: Report
The Minnesota State Patrol just released the names of all six people who died in the crash.
OLMSTEAD COUNTY, MN — The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating an early morning fatal crash on Interstate 90 near Eyota that took the lives of six people. Preliminary reports indicate a vehicle was going the wrong-way Friday, heading eastbound, when it struck another vehicle heading westbound on I-90 near mile post 223.
The two vehicles involved were a 2005 Chrysler Sebring and a 2008 Ford Focus, according to a news release. Three occupants were in each vehicle.
Investigators are still trying to determine which vehicle was going in the wrong direction. I-90 is now back open in both directions.

The Minnesota State Patrol just released the names of all six people who died in the crash. Six were from Minnesota and the other three were from Waukesha.
Christopher Michael Peterson, 26, Rochester, was identified as the driver of the 2005 Chrysler Sebring. Ester Linda Peters, 47, of Rochester, and Shayla Jean Peterson, 23, of Paynesville were passengers in the Sebring.

Authorities say Sheila Eagle, 54, of Waukesha, was behind the wheel of the 2008 Ford Focus. Her passengers are listed as 29-year-old Tamara Lynn Eagle, 29, and Nyobee Richardson, 11, also of Waukesha, were passengers.
