Pewaukee Man Charged With DUI, Death Of Boy, 3
The death of a 3-year-old boy was caused by a Pewaukee man driving drunk, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.

UPDATE:
Nicholas Dischler of Pewaukee is facing several charges, including homicide, in the Sunday death of a 3-year-old boy who was killed in a car crash. Police say the crash on Prospect Avenue by Rocky Point Road was caused by Teschler's intoxication.

Authorities charged Dischler, 25, on Wednesday with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, intoxicated use of a vehicle (great bodily harm) and operating while intoxicated, first offense, with a minor child in the vehicle.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the crash.

PEWAUKEE, WI — A car accident early Sunday morning in Pewaukee left one child dead and two adults injured. A press release from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department says the single-vehicle crash happened on Prospect Avenue at Rocky Point Road, where emergency services responded at 5:49 a.m.
A 25-year-old man was driving with a 24-year-old woman and a 3-year-old boy as passengers. The sheriff's department said in the press release that they think the car was traveling east on Prospect Avenue when it left the roadway near Rocky Point Road, hitting a tree.
All three were taken to area hospitals. The boy was taken to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, but succumbed to his injuries.
The sheriff's office and the Wisconsin State Patrol are investigating the crash.
