33-Year-Old Man Found Dead

Waukesha police responded to the 700 block of Dopp Street just after 1 a.m. Saturday on a report of a death investigation.

According to police, a 33-year-old man was reported deceased in the building.
The Medical Examiner arrived on the scene just before 2:30 a.m. where the man was declared deceased.

The cause of death was not known at the time of the report.

A relative called police to alert them of the incident.

BMW Driver Arrested After Crash

Waukesha police responded to the intersection of E. Garfield Ave. and S. East Ave. on a report of a hit-and-run accident just after 9 p.m. Saturday.

According to police reports, a white BMW struck a stop light and then took off north on Big Bend Rd.

Waukesha police managed to track down the vehicle and took the man into custody.
