4 Flat Tires, No Driver

Waukesha police responded to the 900 block of E. St. Paul Ave. just after 5 a.m. Friday on a report that the driver of a blue Dodge Caravan was involved in a hit-and-run accident along St. Paul.
According to the police report, the person who called police stated it appeared that the driver of the vehicle "took out a couple signs on St. Paul."
The vehicle also had four flat tires, and the driver was not located.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.

A pedestrian walking near the intersection of Delafield St. and Summit Ave. was reportedly struck by a moving vehicle in a hit-and-run accident.
Miracuously, the pedestrian struck was able to walk home after he jumped at the last minute and rolled off the vehicle's hood.
According to the report, the pedestrian told police he was walking in the intersection, west on Summit from Delafield, when a vehicle turned left from Summit and struck him.
The pedestrian could only describe the vehicle as being a foreign make, white, and 4-door. He had a minor scratch on his forearm and stated he only wanted to make police aware of the incident.
