4 Waukesha Women of Distinction Honorees Named
Three women and a Menomonee Falls High School student will be honored at the 35th annual Women of Distinction award ceremony.
WAUKESHA – Three women and a Menomonee Falls High School student will be honored at the 35th annual Women of Distinction award ceremony which will be held on May 10, 2019.
The luncheon, the annual event of the Women and Girls Fund of Waukesha County, will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom of The Ingleside Hotel, 2810 Golf Road, Waukesha.

Mary Baer of Waukesha, former vice president for community engagement for the Waukesha
County Business Alliance and a past president of the Waukesha Rotary Club. She is widely known as a tireless promoter of workforce development initiatives and for a project that introduces high school students and their parents to careers in manufacturing.
Maribeth Bush of Oconomowoc, a founding member and president of the Oconomowoc Area
Foundation, and a founding member of the Oconomowoc Public Education Foundation. She is known as a quiet, but effective, leader and mentor, and as a successful fundraiser for community projects and causes.

Ellen Langill of Waukesha, a former college professor, historian and author whose decades of community service have positively affected many. She has served on many boards, is a co-founder of the Waukesha Education Foundation and a former member of the Waukesha School Board.
Amma Otchere of Menomonee Falls, a senior at Menomonee Falls High School, who is respected
by both teachers and peers for her dedication to a challenging curriculum and positive attitude. She founded Reading Roots, a non-profit that collects books for inner city children.
