WAUKESHA, WI — A 58-year-old Waukesha man is dead after authorities say he suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head in front of his home this week.
According to police reports, officers responded to the 3100 block of Rolling Ridge Drive just after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10 for a report of a man who was exhibiting suicidal behavior.

Police responded to the area and shut down traffic at Rolling Ridge in addition to alerting nearby Meadowbrook School of the incident that was taking place.
According to reports, the 58-year-old man was standing in the driveway during the incident. Police told Patch that the man shot himself in the driveway with the rife.

According to the police reports, the man died at the scene, and the medical examiner was called to the scene just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
