7-Eleven Shooting Victim Was Waukesha Man
Madison police chief Mike Koval said the shooting was a targeted shooting and characterized it as a "cold, brutal assasination"

WAUKESHA, WI — A 32-year-old Waukesha man has been named as the victim in the 7-Eleven fatal shooting in Madison, Wis.
According to the Dane County Medical Examiner, the man has been identified as Kendrith Young of Waukesha.
Madison police chief Mike Koval said the shooting was a targeted shooting and characterized it as a "cold, brutal assasination." A 29-year-old man was also injured in the shooting.

According to police, on the evening of Aug. 2, two suspects wearing masks walked up to the two victims, pointed firearms directly in their faces and began shooting. The police chief stated the suspects came into the store to shoot the victims, and not to rob the 7-Eleven.
It was Madison's 10th homicide of 2017.
