WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the Saratoga Softball Complex on South Prairie Avenue after an 8-year-old girl allegedly threatened a softball player's children with a knife the girl kept hidden in her boot. According to the report, the girl told one of the other children she was going to stab another child in the heart with the knife. Two squads were dispatched to the incident which was reported just before 9 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the police made contact with the child's mother, and the child admitted to pulling the knife out on the playground. The report indicated the child had stabbed another classmate at school the other day with a pencil.
