ProHealth Care Walks for Cancer - Early-Bird Deadline Approaches

The early bird deadline to register for ProHealth Care’s Walks for Cancer, and take advantage of a lower entry fee, is March 22. After that date, the $20 registration fee increases to $25 per person. All registrants will receive a commemorative Walks for Cancer long-sleeve t-shirt.

The Walks for Cancer will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, with onsite registration beginning at 8 a.m. The annual walks include: RiverWalk for Breast Cancer in Waukesha, LakeWalk for Cancer in Oconomowoc and ParkWalk for Cancer in Mukwonago. Last year, the three events attracted 7,500 participants who helped raise more than $460,000.

The walks support cancer research, education, and state-of-the-art technology at ProHealth Care’s Regional Cancer Center. The proceeds also make it possible to advance clinical research, support high risk/genetic services, increase awareness of early detection and provide supportive care to cancer patients. Each walk supports the programs and services in the community of the walk.
