Waukesha police responded to an apartment on the 200 block of South Street just after midnight early Monday morning on a report that a group of five teens jumped from the parking ramp onto an apartment nearby.

Two squads responded to the scene, and a foot pursuit was initiated as some of the teens fled south from South St. and west on Broadway.

Police caught up with the youngsters hiding behind a building on the 100 block of South St. just before 12:30 a.m. Monday.

According to police, three of the teens were detained by police, with at least one taken into custody.

Angry Drunk Man Drank Bottle of Brandy, Taken Down by Police

A drunk man was taken down by police after the man reportedly drank a whole bottle of brandy and tried to fight with a woman and her boyfriend.

According to reports, Waukesha police responded to an apartment on the 600 block of Summit Ave. just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday evening on a report of an intoxicated driver.

Police were informed that the drunk man arrived at the apartment in his vehicle. A neighbor reportedly told police the man hit a curb when he came earlier.

The report stated that the man was taunting the woman and her boyfriend at the apartment as police arrived.

The report goes on to say that the drunk man was "decentralized" and taken into custody just before 1 a.m.
