Armed Robbery At Sunset Bowl: Police

According to police reports, a man came into the bar area with a handgun, went into the smoking room and asked another man for his wallet.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the Sunset Bowl Entertainment Center, 333 W. Sunset Drive, on a report of a robbery in progress just after 1 a.m. on Saturday.

According to police reports, a man came into the bar area with a handgun, went into the smoking room and asked another man for his wallet. The apparent victim reportedly gave him the wallet. The man then hurriedly left.

Police reports indicated that the man was between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6, wore a white and lime-green bandana on his face, a black Carhartt jacket, a San Jose Sharks hat and jeans, and a gun in his waistband.

Reports said the suspect left the bowling alley, and ran south up the hill to Freeman to a car with tinted windows that he may have gotten into.

Reports said that a police K9 attempted to track down the suspect, to no avail. Police stated that surveillance footage inside the building would be reviewed to gather additional evidence in this case.
