Arrest Made At Sunset Family Restaurant: Police

Police say they learned a man wanted for armed robbery would be coming to the restaurant.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the Sunset Family Restaurant just after 1 p.m. on Sunday on a report that a man wanted by Glendale PD would be meeting with a person at the restaurant.

According to police, the man was wanted for armed robbery, and felony statewide extradition. The person who called police said he might suspect he's being set up, and will run if he sees police.

Waukesha police told Patch.com that officers watched as the man pulled into lot of the restaurant. Police told Patch that during the arrest, the man resisted officers attempts to control him and ignored repeated lawful commands to stop resisting.

Police said he was eventually taken into custody and that Glendale police picked him up and transported him to their police station. According to reports, officers recovered a realistic-looking Beretta 92Fs pellet gun.
