ATM Machine Falls Out as Customer Tries to Get Money

WAUKESHA, WI — One unlucky banking customer got more than he bargained for on Monday when he tried to withdraw money from his account using a local ATM machine.
Waukesha police were called to the First Federal Bank of Wisconsin, 1801 Summit Ave. just after 6 p.m. Monday on a report of a suspicious person.
According to the police report, the bank's ATM machine fell out as a banking customer was attempting to get money.

When police arrived, they learned that the ATM machine was not completely secured after the last maintenance check.
Bank staff was advised of the situation and the ATM was re-secured.

According to police, a check of the ATM was made, and there was no evidence of suspicious activity reported.
