Attempted Burglary on Springdale

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to an attempted burglary call just after 4 a.m. at an apartment on the 2400 block of Springdale Road early Sunday morning.

According to police reports, a female resident awoke to hear her sliding glass door shutting. The woman reportedly then fell asleep in her living room, only to see a male suspect shining a flashlight into her window.

Police reports indicate that the woman woke her roommate and ran to her vehicle to call police. Waukesha police arrived minutes later, and cleared the resident. The suspect was described only as a tall male who was wearing a hat.
