Authorities Searching For Missing, Endangered Waukesha County Man
Authorities in Waukesha County suspended their search overnight for a missing and endangered person in the Town of Lisbon.

WAUKESHA, WI — Authorities in Waukesha County suspended their search overnight for a missing and endangered person in the Town of Lisbon.
According to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office, David G. Stenzel, a 71-year-old man from the Town of Lisbon, was last seen by his family at his home at 11 p.m. on Aug. 5.
Stenzel's family believes he left the Willow Springs Mobile Home Park that night on foot, and does not have access to a vehicle, telephone or wallet.

Authorities say Stenzel has a history of walking away and seeking shelter in nearby buildings. Authorities say members of the public can help family and law enforcement efforts by checking structures on their property that Stenzel could have used as shelter.
Authorities also say that Stenzel is believed to have an impaired cognitive condition, although he is not believed to be violent should citizens come in contact with him.

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office does not believe there is a danger to the public or that this is a result of foul play. If you locate or have recently seen him, please contact the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office via 911 or (262) 446-5070 and an officer will respond to your location.
Stensel stands 5-foot-6, weighs less than 150 pounds, had brown eyes, brown hair and was last seen wearing a black T-Shirt and black jogging pants.
