Banned From the Waukesha Library

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha man has been banned from the public library for a month after an incident Thursday.

According to police reports, a man with mental health and cognitive issues took exception to his disorderly behavior. The disturbance escalated, and police were dispatched to mitigate the situation.

Library staff did not wish a criminal complaint against the man, however resorted to banning him for one month from the library.

According to a subsequent police report, the man had assaulted a security officer, leading to the ban.
