Waukesha Area Symphonic Band "Heritage Within" Music of the World Concert

WASB's Benefit Concert for ACAP, 7:30 pm Friday, May 3, Shattuck Auditorium, Carroll University. Featuring Mitchell Rieckhoff, Waukesha West trombonist, and winner of the 2013 Concerto Competition.

WASB's Annual Benefit Concert for Adaptive Community Approach Program is 7:30 pm, Friday, May 3 at Shattuck Auditorium, Carroll University. Directed by former well known Waukesha band director, Rick Kirby. Featuring Mitchell Rieckhoff, Waukesha West trombonist, and winner of the 2013 Concerto Competition. Mitchell, accompanied by WASB, will be performing Arthur Pryor's novelty trombone solo, "Fantastic Polka". The band will be playing a variety of music from different countries and cultures, including "Suite Francaise",  "Liebestod", "Impressions of Japan, "Puszta", and Kirby's "An American Fanfare" plus others.
