Brass Quintet And Bagpipe December Concerts Coming To Waukesha
The award-winning Pipes and Drums of St. John's Northwestern Military Academy are just one of the two concert performers this year.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Tickets are now on sale for a festive series of four mid-December Christmas concerts, with proceeds to benefit the work and programs of The Salvation Army of Waukesha County.
Two groups of musicians are featured this year, the skilled North Coast Brass Quintet, whose performers have played with stars including Aretha Franklin, The Temptations and Frank Valli; and also, the award-winning Pipes and Drums of St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy, a brigade of bagpipes led by Scottish bagpipe builder and master, Major Brian Donaldson.
The Christmas concerts started three seasons ago, and last year produced two sell-outs and one standing room-only event. “We encourage patrons to head for our website as soon as they can – WaukeshaSalvationArmy.org – to purchase their tickets, ensuring they’ll be able to attend the concert of their choice,” said Major Nelson De La Vergne, now in his fifth year as corps officer of the county-wide Salvation Army headquarters.
