Burger King Bandit Steals Cash Through Drive-Through Window: Cops

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the Burger King on Gateway Drive just after 7 p.m. on June 12 on a report of a theft.

According to police reports, a former employee went through the drive-through, reached through the window and stole money out of the cash drawer.

Police told Waukesha Patch that responding officers spoke with restaurant management that day, who told police that about $259 had been stolen from the cash register.

Police say that the former employee was identified, however has yet to be located and taken into custody.
