Burglar Tries Balcony Door, Gets Caught; Drunk Driver Arrested on W. Main
An upset man who tried gaining entry into a Grand Ave. apartment didn't get very far. A drunk driver was also taken in early Wednesday.
Drunk Driver Arrested on W. Main
Waukesha police responded to the intersection near W Main St/W Broadway just after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday for a traffic stop.
According to police reports, an intoxicated driver was taken into custody and the driver's vehicle was towed from the scene. The driver was released to a responsible party just after 3:30 a.m.

Three Waukesha squads responded to an apartment on the 1900 block of S. Grand Ave. just after midnight on Wednesday on a report of a burglary in progress.

According to reports, a man tried jumping through the balcony of an apartment unit there and was kicking the door. Waukesha police responded to the apartment several minutes later, making contact with the man on the balcony. Police ended up taking him into custody without further incident.
