Burglars Hit Waukesha Business Twice In One Night
Waukesha police made an arrest on the 1500 block of Ellis St. Saturday night after a burglary was reported in progress by the business owner

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police made an arrest on the 1500 block of Ellis St. Saturday night after a burglary was reported in progress by the business owner.
According to police reports, the building owner was driving past and noticed a dark-colored Ford Escape pull up with its occupants entering the building after-hours.
The owner stated they had a burglar here just a few days ago. Two men were taken into custody just after police arrived. About an hour later, even more burglars were at it again.

The building owner drove by, only to find a Toyota Prius in his driveway and people milling about inside.
Police responded and set up a perimeter. One of the suspects who came out the door they had nefariously entered, ran back inside the building once he noticed police staging outside.

Police made contact with the man just before midnight and ordered the suspects out.
Police outfitted with less-lethal ammunition made entry into the building and the arrest was made. The building was cleared just after midnight.
