Burglary on Hinman; Suspects Seen Casing Property

A Waukesha neighborhood fell victim to a home burglary, and residents there believe the suspects were seen casing the property.

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha neighborhood fell victim to a home burglary, and residents there believe the suspects cased the property in question before making their entry.

Waukesha police responded to the 200 block of Hinman Ave. just after 9 p.m. on Sunday on a report of a burglary.

According to police reports, a television and appliances were removed from the home by suspects, who had just left in a silver Mercury Mountaineer with no hubcaps.

The report indicated that two men were the occupants of the vehicle and had been casing the property before the burglary occurred.

Police noted that the front door was open, the front screen door was damaged and the back door was open at the time of the burglary.
